About Adam

Based in his native Northamptonshire, UK, Adam Drage (b. 1990) is a photographer that specialises in plants and flowers. Having always had an interest in photography, and dabbled with a DLSR camera a few times in his adult life, it was in the early part of 2021 when he really embarked on his photographic journey.

That photographic journey today sees him capturing images that explore the shapes, forms and colours of the wide variety of flora (and occasional fauna) that he encounters outdoors and in the garden. Close-up and often macro in their compositions, his work reveals the smaller details often missed in passing or on initial viewing.
At the same time, Adam has a growing body of work in which he uses a technique known as ‘intentional camera movement’ which often distorts what is in frame and creates a more abstract result.
